...My favorite of all the Christmas cookies made by my mother... Turned out to be the best ever!
And I think there are two reasons:
1) I used toasted walnuts instead of pecans; and
2) I baked the rolled balls of dough from a cold, but not frozen, state!
They were absolutely delicious. Unlike any others.
