Ham and Cabbage Stir-fry (Hamapalooza #6)

 

Ham Stir-fry Time!

This year, I had 1/4 cabbage in the fridge.

And Ham and Cabbage are a legendary combo!

So, off I went...

I sliced and stir-fried an onion, then added some minced garlic... and took it off the heat.

Then I stir-fried some chopped ham... and added it to the onions and garlic.

I then stir-fried the thin-sliced cabbage... and added it to the other ingredients.

I got some brown rice ready to go, and sliced a bunch of scallions and set them aside to garnish.

Then, the final push...

I heated the wok again, added some chicken stock, sriracha, and soy sauce...  And tossed everything back in!  When it was all really hot, I turned off the heat, tossed in some sesame oil...

And served it over hot brown rice.  With scallions scattered on top.

Gentlemen, start your chopsticks!!!
