One of the toughest parts of being an actor is being away from home on holidays... But when you're with a convivial group of actors, that negative can be turned into a positive. And I am in Cleveland with a VERY convivial group. So we arranged an Easter potluck for today. People brought all sorts of wonderful food... salads, salsas, tres leches cakes, homemade breads, various wines... and since most actors have worked in restaurants, the set-up was beautiful, and the clean-up efficient!


I made a Spring vegetable risotto with asparagus, peas, and chives... I enhanced the boxed stock by poaching two chicken breasts in it (I'll use them for salads and a pasta later this week).

A lovely time was had by all... and we still had most of our day off to rest!
